You can email Piper at airframe@piper.com; make one out of hex stock, or just use a standard nut as the jam nut which is what Piper used to do.
Seat Bolt and Nut
-
This is the nut I am looking to find. Any ideas as to where or part number? Thanks
Pete
Attachments:I don’t recall seeing an inch long nut before. I don’t suppose you have a picture.
Thanks for the reply but the nuts you listed are not what I am looking to find. The nut in question is about 1 inch long and is used to adjust the angle of the seat back. I cannot locate a part number. Two are located on the back of each of the six seats.
I am not 100% sure I know what you are asking about, but I would guess that it is just a standard AN315-4 nut. It is also possible that they used a jam nut in that application which would be an AN316-4.
There are two bolts and nuts on each seat that are adjustable and determine the angle of the seat back. I am in need of one of the nuts that fits on the bolt and is used to lock the seat back in a fixed angle. Any idea as to where to get one.
