I am curious if anyone has already solved this problem. I have a Garmin 660 handheld GPS. It came with a huge mount to put on the control wheel column but I wanted to to try and use a mount on the windshield or glareshield. However, the biggest mount I could find online simply didn’t have enough depth to hold it. Got any suggestions for a mount (other than factory) that works?
Edit: after looking at the factory mount again I may try using it on the side brace tube. But still interested in anyone’s suggestions!
