Just purchased a 1968 Arrow that had been sitting outside for 20+ years (yes I said 20!) here in sunny California. Surprisingly good shape but interior and side glass was toast. #1) I am having trouble finding the sticky tape used to install between windows and window frame to seal out water. Any idea on what it is called and where I get it? #2) Engine not run yet but with a cheepie compression gauge I get 125lbs each cylinder and when turning prop no unusual noises or sounds. Is there a recommended procedure to safely start an engine sitting so long? Plane has 1426 TT E&AF, and 62 SMOH E Chrome and 62 Prop!
