    Hi Pete,
I just received the envelope you sent me via postal mail. It wasn’t necessary but thanks very much. I’m just glad I could help you! Happy holidays,

    Hi Pete,

I worried about its safe arrival, I’m glad that it made it. I’m hoping that it solves your problem.

Hi, I mailed you the trim switch about a week ago. Have you received it yet? Did it work for you?

    Best,

    Hi Peter,

There is no charge for the switch and I’ll get it out to you this week. Thanks for being a member of PFA, it means a lot to me.

    Best,

The switch is bad. We did the check you suggested and the trim system is operational when the switch is bypassed. I would like to purchase your extra switch. Please advise the cost with shipping and send your address and I will et a check out. My address is Peter Hecht, 9170 Isles Cay Drive, Delray Beach, FL 33446.

    Thanks again.

    Pete

    Hi Pete,

And don’t forget, if the switch is bad, I have a switch for you.

Hi, I think you’re talking about a push-button trim enable-disable switch under the left yoke on the lower panel, correct? Put a jumper across it and see if your trim works, or put an ohm-meter across it with the trim circuit breaker pulled out and see if it goes to zero ohms with the trim switch in. Also, I’m going to the airport tomorrow and I think I have an unused trim switch in my hangar. If I do you can have it.

    Keep me informed,
    Scott Sherer
