It looks like Turbosplus has an STC for the EB to KB upgrade: https://www.turboplus.com but I’m copying Steve here too in case he knows of other options.
I don’t have any feedback about Turbosplus, but maybe Steve does.

I have not seen a conversion like you mentioned, but you do see IIs with the KB upgrade which are in the Seneca III like mine.
The KBs are stronger than your EBs and my experience with the engines in my III over 27 years and 3100+ hours has been good,
