OEM Whalen system, wingtip unit Model W-1285
Damaged in taxi accident. Base seems to be okay but green lens, strobe A427 and fairing are damaged.
Looking for replacement parts, will check Wentworth, Preferred and others but not optimistic.
Will check Whalen for upgrade options, hopefully plug-and-play using as much of existing wiring as possible.
Experience of other members, recommendations, options appreciated. Cost of repair might be better directed toward LED upgrade. Reducing downtime is important, too.
