Hello,
I have a 1965 PA28-180C located in a hangar at KSLC, I had a small accident in the hangar when the right main gear strut collapsed while servicing and unfortunately I had a jack under the wing which I was not using at the time and ended up punching a hole in the bottom of the wing. I have been trying to find a mechanic to do the repair but as of yet I have been unsuccessful. The problem is that there is no longer a repair facility on the airport and the only option available without moving the airplane is a independent mechanic who is not real motivated to help me out. The airplane is out of annual as I have been waiting for a year for my engine to come back from the overhaul shop and has just recently been installed.
Can anyone recommend a mechanic in the greater Salt Lake area that might be able to help me out?
