McFarlane Aviation, a Victor Sierra company, is pleased to announce the acquisition of three Supplemental Type Certificates (STCs) from P. Ponk Aviation, a respected developer of high-performance upgrades for legacy Cessna aircraft.
P. Ponk’s STCs have long enhanced the performance and reliability of Cessna 170, 180, 182, 185, and 206 models. The acquisition complements McFarlane’s extensive line of PMA airframe parts for these same aircraft and reinforces its commitment to supporting the general aviation community.
Norma Knopp, Co-Owner of P Ponk Aviation, states “It is with great sadness that I announce the recent passing of my husband and partner Steven Knopp. He would want our customers – our friends – to continue receiving P Ponk parts with the same product support and service they have come to depend upon. The acquired STCs include:
· PSK1101 – Main Landing Gear Kit (Cessna 170, 180, 185, L-19)
· PPA1201 – Inboard Landing Gear Attach Angle (Cessna 170, 180, 185)
· PPA1301-1 / -2 – Outboard Gear Box Brackets, LH/RH (Cessna 170, 180, 185)
· PPA1401 – Rudder-Elevator Hinge Bearing (Cessna 180, 182, 185, 206)
These STC parts are now available for purchase through the McFarlane Aviation website.
