    I agree Eric-

    Restructuring is not always a bad thing.  At times, it creates innovation.  Let’s hope the prices stay reasonable for the legacy fleet.

    I hope this is a good thing. For me there were concerns with the Chinese owning the company but just because it is American owned doesn’t mean everything is ok. However, Continental has been doing some nice progress on technology and hopefully that will continue. They have developed the Jet A piston engine (CD-300) and I hope they will continue to develop their Avgas engines as well.

    PE Arcline Investment Management (“Arcline”), a growth-oriented private equity firm, today announced it has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire the holding company of Continental Aerospace Technologies, Inc. (“Continental” or “the Company”) for a total consideration of approximately $535 million.
