EDMO Distributors, Inc. is pleased to announce the addition of Lone Star Aviation Corporation products to our expanding line of avionics offerings. Lone Star Aviation, based in Mansfield, TX, is a manufacturer of a wide variety of avionics support items, including:
FILTERS – FAA/PMA’d noise filters targeted at eliminating radio frequency interference (RFI), alternator whine, electrical noise from magnetos, strobes, beacons, electric fuel pumps, AC HVAC, ground loop interference, and many other sources of electronic noise.
INVERTERS – FAA/PMA, TSO, DO-160G and MIL STD 810 approved DC-AC pure sine-wave inverters that shift 12 or 24VDC input power to an output power of 200 up to 4000 watts at either 115VAC 60Hz or 230VAC 50Hz and other voltages.
DC CONVERTERS – FAA TSO Approved Up (14 to 28VDC) and Down (28 to 14VDC) Converters, Multiple Output Models, Cigarette Lighter Receptacles, USB Charging Kits for iPad, Smartphone, and other EFB’s. Circuit design incorporates input and output protection.
AVIONICS COOLING FANS – FAA/PMA Approved and DO-160D Qualified Cooling Fans using quiet, brushless DC motors. Single Port, Three Port, and Six Port “Cyclone” blowers with SCAT ducting, and DC Axial fans installed on avionics ensure reliable operation and extended life of LRU’s.
LED LIGHTING – Dimmable and non-dimmable 14 and 28VDC LED Panel Indicators in White, Red, Green, Amber, and Blue that use aluminum body, ruggedized MS25041 military housings and T1-3/4 LED MFB bulbs with high impact plastic lens.
