Hello Kent,
Thanks for the info but so far, I have been deadened.
I am looking for an aftermarket oil filtration system that was made by Aviation Development Corporation out of Seattle.
The filtration system consisted of an adapter that went on the engine to divert the oil from the existing filter location to new filter location, a housing that is about 6 inches square, and a stainless steel mesh filter inside the housing. The housing had ports for a chip detector, low pressure sensor and an oil bypass sensor and indicator lights were located inside the cabin.
If anyone has any parts or knows where I can locate the parts, I would appreciate the contact information.
For background, I have a PA 28R-180 with the ADC oil filter installed. I also have a rare modification to my Arrow as my aircraft has a Lopresti Howl Cowl, a mod that added about 15 mph to my aircraft speed and gives it a modern “look” as it has the round air inlet holes similar to the Cirrus. FYI, the cowl is not supposed to add that much speed but perhaps after the installation the re rigging cleaned it up even more. Presently, I am looking for components to be able to install an ADC unit on an A36 Bonanza.
The part number for the housing is a 600010-1
