Hi Kent,

I used Burlington Air Center, Jacob Remington, President, to do the work. It’s installed and tested and approved by the FAA. See attached. As for Avidyne still awaiting approval, I can’t address that…

Where did you have the work completed? I utilized Eastern Cincinnati Avionics, at Sportys. I pre-wired for the ADS-B out. You have that active? My shop said Avidyne is still awaiting approval?

My plane came out of the shop after five months of winter work today and I had the first flight with ADS-B Out. From the cockpit the flight was exactly the same as before, just a new transponder. It’s good to have the project done but nothing feels any difference other than my checkbook. Which is a lot emptier!
