I just had to install one in my plane, as the prior fell out in flight on my last adventure. The hole size is 1.5 inches. Was able to get a replacement from Aircraft Spruce. A note though, I did have to tweak the fingers to get the plug to fit into the hole without any wiggle once installed. I also painted the new plug with metal primer and then white spray paint. Looks good now.

That little piece is commonly called a Wilkie button. It’s just a plug for the hole that provides access to the filler port for each main landing gear strut.
You have two options:
Pry the one that’s still installed, measure the ID of the hole, then head down to a local hardware store and see if they have any plug buttons like the one you have in your hand.

Or order one that the correct size from Aircraft Spruce and Specialty (www.aircraftspruce.com) After the Spruce page opens, type “Wilkie” in the search window–the page will open to a variety of sized.

They just snap into the hole.
