Hi Nathan,
I am a Seneca III owner for 32 years and have talked with many owners and prospective owners over the years.
Let me know what your questions are and I will be happy to answer (david@mckenncoinc.pe.ca).
My Seneca and I have been to KEYW many times…one of my favorite places on earth!

Looking for South FL Seneca 2 or 3 owner for “consultation flight”

Hello Nathan,
I am not online very often, so it’s luck that I saw this.
I live in Pompano Beach and have a Seneca IV. Please realize a Seneca IV is really a Seneca III made after the bankruptcy. Just has a slightly different nose bowl/engine inlet, and an all metal panel.

Hi Nathan,
I have reached out to David, a Seneca owner to ask him if he can fit in a phone call consultation.
Other than that assistance, there’s not much we can do here at Piper Flyer.
One thing that might help is go to one of the commercial aircraft title search companies to seek a list of the Seneca II or III owners near your area. Look up airplane title search, and ask for help or guidance.
Good luck, and please get back to me with what you learn.Best,
SteveNathan,
We are new (1980) Seneca II owners. We are by no means experts on the Seneca, but would be happy to discuss our ownership experience to date (only 2 months since we bought it).Coming from the Cherokee, you’ll probably find it flies quite well. For my husband and I coming from an airline flying background, we are both getting used to how differently a light piston twin flies. We’re located in the mountainous area of Western NC (1A5) and appreciate a twin over a single as I’m sure you would, in your environment in the Keys.
If you want to give us a call or text us, you can reach us at 239 595-0623.
Hi, I’m new here but have owned a Cherokee 140, Piper Arrow, and a Warrior (I know – why am I just now showing up on piperflyer – I’m embarrassed!)
I’m very seriously looking to move up to a Seneca 2 or 3 and want to get a bit more data. I live in Key West and I’m reaching out to see if there are any Seneca owners in South Florida that I could pay for a couple of hours of your time to talk about your ownership experience and take a brief ride in your plane (you fly, of course!). I could travel to you or pay your expenses if you prefer to fly down to either KMTH or KEYW and meet me. There arent’ any Senecas on either of the fields near me so I’m reaching out a little further. I’ve also looked for flight schools in FL that use Seneca 2’s and I have struck out there – so any help would be greatly appreciated!
