Hi Scott, Had to change a setting and I think it’s working now. Let me know if you have any additional problems.

Hi Jen,
I’ve uploaded a pic to the forums with my other recent message for the photo doesn’t take. Is there something special about uploading photos?Scott Sherer

Hi Joe,
My wife and I took the Seneca back to Mackinac Island last Saturday. Perfect weather! Lots of planes at the airport, more than we expected. Good food, great scenery, outstanding fudge 🙂 We’ll have to meet there for lunch next year!Scott Sherer

Milwaukee, WIAttachments:Yes, always a great time there. My picture taking has been lax lately, need to work on that. I’ve been doing some research & the 17 y/o Son & I may fly to Beaver Island in the next few weeks. My plan was to land there & try to kayak over to nearby Garden Island. One review compared the beaches there somewhat comparable to those in the Caribbean. No I don’t expect them to be a match, but pictures show a lot of sand with shallow bays, inviting. At least they are easier to get to & no Customs.
We may do Beaver Island in conjunction with a Monday morning arrival to Airventure. Much of the planning is heavily wx dependent of course.
GuestMackinac Island, pronounced Mackinaw (it’s French) is the nicest place in America you can go without a jet. If you’ve seen the 1980’s movie “Somewhere In Time” with Christopher Reeve you know the island. No cars, only walking, biking and horse drawn taxi’s. In fact, when you land on the island they pick you up right from your plane with the horse-drawn taxi. How cool! It’s a wonderful place, I’ve been there over 30 times and we’re going up next week with our Seneca.
5 Stars!

N344TBWe flew into Mackinac Island earlier in June. Going by plane is the very best way to get there. The weather was great & the 3 or us had a good time. Keep it on your radar if you haven’t been there lately.
