Hello and happy holidays,

Sounds like all you need is an adjustment by your avionics shop. While I don’t have an STEC, I’ve had Century autopilots for forty years and these kinds of problems tend to be from changing electronics values of components in your autopilot. All of my Century autopilots have screw-driver adjustments to account for this. My guess is that this won’t be more expensive than an hour of your avionics shop time.

My S-Tec 30 tracks VOR and GPS 1 to 2 dots off centerline. Any thoughts as to why? Suggestions as to repairs?
