My wife was so sad to miss it this year also. She’s an exhibitor at all the major aviation events.
Her company is Fly-Inn.com. Fly-Inn offers short-term rentals to pilots only. The inventory is always growing. Every property is on the runway or very close to it and the hosts give you a place to stay, a place to tie-down or hangar your aircraft and a car. It’s like airbnb but for pilots only and it’s all figured out for you.
Blue skies,
Eric
Between an changing schedule and Helene the hurricane I didn’t get to go this year but a good bit of it was “washed out”. My Apache is still in the radio shop but will hopefully be done next week.
We were one of the few planes that made in on Monday 9/23, but the stubborn low ceilings and Helene pretty much limited the festivities. Even so, Triple Tree is a beautiful place, and the volunteers and staff make it an exceptional experience. We are looking forward to next year and hope all associated with the fly in are safe and sound.
The Triple Tree fly in for 2024 comes up SEP 23-29. Located in South Carolina just south of Spartanburg and Greenville, Triple Tree has become a “must do” for East Coast flyers. I hope to see you there this year!
