After a close inspection of the right nav light, I find that it is not a UAvonitx skylight. It looks like a standard nav light that uses a LED replacement for the original incandescent bulb.
I can tell you that should you replace it with the SkySensor you have the green light and ADSB In! It’s pretty each to get field approval / 337 since the light portion is the same as the skybeacon.
The Piper Cherokee 180 I operate has a uAvionix Skylight green nav light. The light is dim and flickers. Does this indicate that the whole unit must be replaced$ $600 is a lot of money for a nav light.
