Here is my video of my flight lesson in N8119H at Beverly Municipal Airport. My CFI is preping me for my solo which is in 3 months! Every lesson from now (excluding the SFM meetup March 10th) will be reviewing the basics such as stalls, steep turns, slow flight, emergency procedures, etc. On this flight we practiced power on and off stalls and emergency procedures. We got our taxi clearance to runway 27 and took off using runway 27 for a left downwind departure to the practice area at 1,500 feet and a heading of 090*. Once we got out there we made our clearing turns and the started off with power off stalls, then we proceeded into power on stalls and after that my CFI just pulled the power on me when I didn’t even know it and told me my engine failed, and wanted me to do the emergency procedures, which I dd successfully. After some work in the practice area we headed back to Beverly and made two touch and goes (which one short approach) and a full stop. The PiperSport was in the pattern with us too for a little bit. After the full stop landing we turned right off onto taxiway Foxtrot and taxied back to the BFC parking via taxiways Foxtrot and Alpha. Then we shut the aircraft down and head inside to review our flight. Overall it was a bit bumpy out however it was a nice day to go flying. Enjoy the video!
