I will give you a steer. There isn’t any listing I have access to that lists good mx shops.
Fortunately the Aircraft Electronics Association (AEA) prints a listing of its member shops.
There are two near you.
One at PLU is Spencer Aircraft and Electronics. 253-848-9349.
The other is at Olympia–Olympia Avionics 360-357-3134
My suggestion, if you can’t find one by asking around, is to visit or call these shops and ask: “I’m looking for an A & P that can do a good pre purchase inspection on a Piper Cherokee. Do you have a recommendation?”
I wish I were able to help more, but it’s impossible for me to track all the shops in the US.
