    Hi Steve,

It’s great to connect with you! I can’t tell you how many of your articles have influenced my maintenance tasks… for the better.

Thanks so much for sharing your California hangar and gas experiences. Would it be okay if I moved in with you until March? We hit -8 F a couple of days ago.

    Best,
    Scott Sherer

    Hi Scott;
You probably already know this but fuel prices at any airport, or any airport within a 50 mile radius of the selected airport at available at http://www.airnav.com
I have a Nunno large exec (really just room for a large single) at the Paso Robles airport (KPRB) in Paso Robles, CA. I pay $325/mo.
Avgas is $4.96 for full service. The self service island is being moved but with the rate of construction (glacial) it will be a while until we can get the $4.10/gallon cost that the other airports pay under this administration.
Right now it makes sense to fly to San Luis Obispo (KSBP) or Oceano (L52) for the $4.10 fuel. Buy 20 gallons and buy lunch with the savings.

Here in KLEE (Leesburg Florida) 100LL is $3.25 per gallon and T-hangars are $260-300.

Gas prices are still high out west. My field is $5.70 and a couple nearby are $5.75 and $5.65. Prices have been steady for a long time.

I should drive down with 4-55 gallon barrels. Man that’s cheap. :woohoo:

    Hi everyone,

I was at my home airport, Burlington Municipal in Wisconsin and I see that 100LL is now $2.99 per gallon. I’m going to fill up on Friday!

And let’s hope it stays this low for a long time to come!

That is super Scott. I got it for 4.51 and that is not to bad for up here in the cities. Merry Christmas and safe flying to everyone.

    Hi everyone,

AvGas has reached a number so long that I can’t recall the last time it was lower. Yesterday I paid $2.63 for regular auto gas and $4.19 for 100ll at Burlinton Municpal Airport (KBUU).

Happy holidays to everyone, I hope your gas price is just as low!

    Hi all,

With automobile gas prices down I was wondering when the price of aviation fuel might go down, too, if at all. For most of the last year gasolene at Burlington, Wisconsin (BUU) has been at $4.99/gallon. I purchased gas yesterday at BUU for $4.75/gallon.

    What are you currently paying?
