Hi Frank,
Thanks for taking the time to let us know that getting your spinner worked for you.

I’m searching for companies that can legally do these kind of repairs.

I know of one; http://www.spinner-repairs.com

Looking for others.
Happy Flying,
Steve

Steve,
About 20 years ago I had to send out the spinner from my PA24-260. One of the “ears” at the corner…the screw adjacent to where the cutout is for the prop blade… broke off. I can’t for the life of me recall where I sent it, but I do recall the turnaround time was pretty quick and it has held up just fine. I want to say it was Acorn? but I could be making that up.

Hi Everyone;
I’m hoping to get some first hand reports from members that have sent their propeller spinners to be welded due to cracks.

Where did you send it?

Has the weld repair held up?

What was the turn around time?

What year was it done, and what was the cost?

Thanks,
Steve
