    Hi John,
Sorry, I have not been able to locate a publication that addresses the rebuild of that valve.
Piper did send information but it’s the same thing that’s in the parts book.
In an earlier post, I believe I posted that John Jewel has parts that seem to be the parts for that valve.
I got those part numbers out of a different Piper parts manual.
This Scott 4600 valve was used a lot by Piper.
Please let me know what you come up with.

    Hi John;
I’m still searching for that answer.

I’ll let you know what I learn.

    Hi Steve, S/N 27-7405325
I’m trying to solve leak problems in the fuel control box located between the front two seats.
We have the “fuel shut off value” which is really the crossfeed control, P/N 492 297. A Scott MOD 4600

Then there is the heater fuel shutoff, Piper P/N 19460-00
And then Cross Feed drain valve. Piper P/N 17946-00

    Thank you.

    Hi,
    It appears that the packings you’re referring to is either a Piper 755 834, 755 835 or 755 836.

http://www.johnjewellaircraft.com has new parts listing on it’s parts list. It might be wise to buy the correct packing first before you try to remove the one in your valve.

I can get the correct part number but first need the serial number of your Aztec airframe.
I have not rebuilt one of these valves so am in the dark about what part you’re referring to.

Hi, The piper aztec service manual states that one can “re-pack” the o-rings on the fuel cross connect valve.
This valve is a Scott Mod 4600. Mine is leaking and it would seem that replacing the 4 o-rings will be good thing to try..

There are two o-rings that inside of the aluminium valve block and on side there appears to be a nylon bushing. Not sure how to get that bushing out without damaging it.

    Ideas ???

    Thanks
