As an older pilot, I’m hesitant to make a change in the type of aircraft that I own and hesitant to change insurance carriers
So far there have been no significant changes. Premiums this year were either unchanged, or even dropped slightly on two of our planes.
Dropped and unable to obtain insurance. Suspect due to age ( 85 ).
But it wasn’t a bad increase.
My PA-30 has been out of annual for several years with just non-moving coverage. My carrier (of many years) will not offer me a flight policy at any premium once my annual is current. I am 78, almost 79 years old with military, commercial, and Large UAS (military contracted instructor) flying of all types in my experience resume. I have never had an accident.
Premium is up about 30%
Unknown. I have not received a quote for the policy which expires in April.
a nominal increase in my annual premium, with no policy changes, except for more flight time.
Premium went up 10% year over year.
