[b]Another update, 6,400+ downloads, 14,500 launches and now over 1400 locations. I still get questions about how to download on an iPad, so here are some step by step instructions:
Go to the app store on your iPad,
Click the search box and search for Airport Courtesy Cars,
The search will not show any results, however when the search is complete a bar of menus will appear along the top of the page,
The very first one on the left says “Ipad only”,
Click it to show a drop down menu,
Choose “iPhone only” and Airport Courtesy Cars” will be displayed, and you can download the app.

Another update, approaching 6000 pilots now using the app and another review on EAA website. the app has almost 5000 downloads and broke 1300 locations today. I wanted to tell you that “by popular request” I can now upload pictures of your cars to the locations. Feel free to send them in to airportcars101@gmail.com and I will get them loaded as time permits (a small file 320 wide would cut down my workload) Thanks again folks! Glenn

Another quick update to the group. The app has surpassed 1200 locations and over 3000 downloads. I am now offering FBO’s the opportunity to offer pilots a fuel discount and be displayed with more contrast in the app, in exchange for a reasonable fee (In an attempt to not charge pilots for that app, but to recoup some of my costs). So if you know of an FBO that might be interested, I would really appreciate you letting them know about the app. I also have a 1 page flier if anyone would like a cop to print and post. Thank you AOPA for reviewing the Airport Courtesy Car app in the February issue on page 37. The review states the app is only available for iPhone, however that is incorrect. And thanks also to AvWeb who reviewed it earlier. The app is available for Android in the Google Play Store, so you Android users, please check it out. The app is totally free and now lists over 1100 locations nationwide. And thanks to all the folks on this forum who contributed listings. Glenn

Thank you Scott, the app has gotten a great response so far. It was also featured in AvWeb and will be in the February issue of AOPA Pilot Magazine. I am subscribed to this topic, so if people have additions (or corrections) to the app I will take care of it and get them added or corrected. It is simple to get the “Airport Courtesy Cars” app on your iPad now. Go to the app store on your iPad. On the top where it says ‘iPad apps”, change that drop down menu to “iPhone” and do the search. The app will show and you can now download it with all the same phone features. The app now lists over 1100 locations nationwide. Any questions just ask at airportcars101@gmail.com
