Hi Rex,
According to the Lycoming operator’s manual for the O-540-E series engines, the fuel consumption at rated power at sea level is 24.6 gph. The operator’s manual also cites 75 percent power fuel consumption is 19 gph and 60 percent power is 15 gph for the E series O-540.

Does anyone have some fuel burn numbers on Cherokee 6 260s ? Lower altitudes no leaning 3k to 5k feet range. Thanks Rex
