Icom America, Inc. is pleased to announce a leadership transition within its Marketing Department. Ray Novak, Senior Sales Manager, will assume leadership responsibility for Icom America’s Marketing Department while continuing in his current role overseeing the Amateur, Aviation, and Marine product lines.

Novak has been with Icom America since 1994 and has held a variety of sales and management positions throughout his career. His expanded role will bring additional alignment between sales, marketing, product strategy, and customer engagement across Icom America’s business divisions.

Mark Behrends, Senior Marketing Manager, will transition into a semi-retirement role as Marketing Project Specialist. In this new position, Behrends will continue to support selected marketing projects and initiatives, allowing Icom America to benefit from his experience and knowledge while providing continuity during the transition.

The leadership change reflects Icom America’s continued focus on strengthening the Icom brand, supporting its dealers and customers, and creating a more connected approach between market feedback, sales strategy, and marketing communications.

Icom America looks forward to building on the strengths of both leaders as the company continues to expand its presence across the Amateur Radio, Aviation, Marine, Land Mobile, and Network communications markets.
