Another note, I’m based in Colorado. Which Piper service center is premiere in the mid-west/west?

Tough find. A highly desirable airframe is sure to be snapped up, a cash in hand, no BS transaction. I suspect you aught to be checking the usual suspects hourly. Also, if you have not done so, contact Bartelt Aviation. They are the PA32 super brokers and if a plane is avail, they will know about it.

As a side side note, have you talked to an insurance broker yet?
