    Hi Ramon,
    Welcome aboard.
I’m glad to hear that you use your airplane as was intended. To fly and see the world.

I’m Steve; I’ll try to help you if you’ll post your questions (and/or discoveries!) on this forum page.

We’re always looking for good flying stories. I’d love to read about your Caribbean flight adventure.

    Steve

Greetings! My wife and I own a ’78 Piper Turbo Arrow III, N121WS (aka Wicked Sandy) since 2021. We were originally based out of Henderson (HND), NV but now we are in central Texas (1T7). The plane has taken us on many trips since we owned her, and recently we flew to the Providenciales (MBPV) in Turks & Caicos. Prior to Wicked Sandy, we had a normally aspirated R182 N3625C (aka Carolina). Carolina was a great plane too with an awesome glass panel. However, she didn’t climb very well so we traded her for Wicked Sandy. I know you are asking, why Wicked Sandy? We we first bought her, she developed a problem with her landing gear. After a lot of replaced parts, the problem was found to be a broken wire from the rear bus to the main landing gear. The first time the landing gear didn’t come down, it scared my wife quite a bit, hence the name.

Hi, Jen! My wife owns Fly-Inn.com. It’s a website that offers short-term / vacation rentals exclusively to the aviation community. Each house gives you accommodations, runway, hangar or tie-downs and even ground transportation upon landing… Have you heard of it?

She goes to all the major events like Buckeye, Sun N’ Fun, Oshkosh and about 18 more each year. Look her up if you’re around! Her name is Carollyne.

    Hi Eric,
What does your wife do? What shows does she attend?

    Blue skies,
    Jen

    Hi Eric,
Now’s the time. Somebody is gonna grab this airplane and never look back. It does need an ADS-B out solution but it’s a good one!
Let me know where I can send more information–send me your email by messaging me on my Facebook page.

I like those little planes a lot, Steve. My wife is actually looking for something she can take people and equipment in when she goes to exhibit at all the air shows she attends.

    Hi Eric,
I am selling a nice little Piper PA-12 Super Cruiser that has a 150 hp engine in place of its original 108 hp engine. The power upgrade makes it into a great performing tail wheel airplane. I’d be happy to send you more information if a tube and fabric, stick, tail wheel airplane is what you’re looking for.

Hi I’m Eric, I’m based at KBTF (Bountiful) and UT9 (West Desert) in Utah. I own a Cessna 172 and a RANS S-20. I love flying around the States west of the Rockies. Currently looking at Piper to add another plane to our little collection…
My wife runs fly-inn.com, about 100 short-term vacation properties across the United States all with ground transportation facilitated for you. Think of it like Airbnb —a listing service — but for pilots only!
We are looking to build a house (or airpark) in the Eastern US, also, so if you know about any good land, please let us know! Then we can say we fly around the West in the summer and the East in the winter.

    Happy New Year to everyone!

I’m an “old” member and live on the East Coast in Charlotte, NC. Based out of Shelby, NC as that is the nearest airport I could get a hangar but it turns out to be an excellent airport and very happy to be there. I fly a little Apache named “Annie” that is still fairly original to what it was in 1955 when it was built. I’m recently retired and having fun finding new airports to visit. I try to put in descriptions of my favorite destinations as I find them so please put some new ones in for me to discover! We need more folks on the East Coast being involved and putting in their favorites!

    Eric Parks
