Hi Helio;

I believe that valve is to ensure that any fuel in the induction system drains out when the engine is shut down. If I’m correct, it is a one way check valve. 

The test for a one way check valve is:
Apply pressure to the tube end–no restriction in airflow
Apply pressure to the fitting (threaded end)–no airflow.

Can anyone give us a comment about the drain valve  P/N 41287-00?as:- is there any test we can do to check that it works perfectly?
– we bought a new one, but we suspect it is not blocking the flow correctly when we blow through our mouth.  Thanks a lot,
