PA32 fuel valve rebuild kit availably

Has this been a persistent problem? If you don’t get the selector nicely in the detent, but have it anywhere between the tip and main tank position, you will have fuel draining from the tip to the main tank. It only has to be slightly out of position for this to happen. (Yes, ask me how I know.)
Thank you! I’ll try that
Same thing happened to me about 10 years ago on my 1966 PA32-260. You are correct that the fuel is passing from the tip tank through the valve and back to the main because one of the spring loaded ball bearings is stuck in the open position. My mechanic cleaned / flushed the valve (no new parts) and I’ve been good ever since. A rebuild is nicer but you might be able to skip it an save a $. Good luck!
I noticed fuel leaking out of my left main fuel tank gas cap. I checked the gas cap and found that as soon as I opened it gas started to flow out onto the wing as if I over filled it. I checked the other tanks and found that my left tip tank was lower with gas then I remembered. I figured the only way for gas to go from one tank to the other was through the gas selector valve. I’m currently looking for a valve rebuild kit for an Airborne fuel valve, model # 1H-26-2, serial # 6K. I do not want to buy a piper #768895 fuel valve kit @ $14K, I am looking for a rebuild kit. If anyone knows of a supplier, please advise. If anyone else had this problem, please advise. 1966 PA32-300. Thank You
