ParticipantHi, Jen! My wife owns Fly-Inn.com. It’s a website that offers short-term / vacation rentals exclusively to the aviation community. Each house gives you accommodations, runway, hangar or tie-downs and even ground transportation upon landing… Have you heard of it?
She goes to all the major events like Buckeye, Sun N’ Fun, Oshkosh and about 18 more each year. Look her up if you’re around! Her name is Carollyne.

My wife runs fly-inn.com, about 100 short-term vacation properties across the United States all with ground transportation facilitated for you. Think of it like Airbnb —a listing service — but for pilots only!
We are looking to build a house (or airpark) in the Eastern US, also, so if you know about any good land, please let us know! ParticipantThere are so many flights to talk about that I don’t even know where to start! I think the best option is to share about my most recent trip. My wife owns Fly-Inn.com, and we flew to Alaska for the Great Alaska Aviation Gathering, where she was an exhibitor. We stayed at one of the Fly-Inn rental homes in Palmer, Alaska. We absolutely loved the trip because it was our first time visiting Alaska, and we got to meet so many wonderful people. We enjoyed getting to know our hosts and all the other hosts in the area. Plus, we became great friends with the event organizers. We got to see the surfers on the bore tide, which I absolutly loved because I’m a surfer myself. We traveled all over and saw so much of the beauty of Alaska. We had no idea Alaska was that gorgeous. It was an unforgettable experience!
